W&W Winter Reading List

Winter reading list

As I've stated many times before (here and here for example) I love a good book. Winter is one of my favorite times to curl up on the couch, watch the snow fall and read a good book with a big cup of coffee. So, continue on for the list of what I'm reading this winter.

1. Gloria Steinem, My Life on the Road. Gloria is such an icon for me (and also from my hometown!). I can't wait to dig into her latest book that's all about her travels. No doubt I'll devour this book in a few days.
2. Susannah Cahalan, Brain on Fire. This book was so highly recommended from a friend, I knew I had to add it to my list immediately. After reading the insane plot, I know it will be intense, but worthwhile read.
3. Dennis Lehane, Live by Night. I fell in love with Lehane's writing reading one of his other books, The Given Day. Live by Night continues the story of the Coughlin family with the youngest Coughlin, Joe, as the lead character.
4. Robert Galbraith, Career of Evil. Robert Galbraith, aka JK Rowling, need I say more? This is the 3rd book in the Cormoran Strike series, and I intend to see it through.
5. Anthony Doerr, All the Light We Cannot See. This book has been on my radar for a long time and has received positive reviews from friends and even Amazon. This winter, I'm determined to finally cross it off my reading list.

Sound off in the comments with your thoughts on these books or what you are planning to read this winter.
